Campus Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment Cell

Women Helpline Number

The Women Empowerment Cell creates a supportive and inclusive campus where gender equality is a top priority. It provides a dedicated platform for female students and staff to voice their concerns and express themselves freely. By focusing on safety and education, the Cell helps every woman on campus feel respected and valued as they pursue their academic and personal goals.

Key Initiatives

  • Learning and awareness: The Cell organises workshops and seminars to discuss gender sensitivity and women’s rights. These sessions help build a deeper understanding of equality within the college community.
  • Building life skills: Programmes like self-defence training and leadership development are offered to help young women gain confidence. These activities are designed to prepare them for future roles in society.
  • Legal guidance: Regular sessions on legal awareness provide students and staff with the knowledge they need to understand their rights and protections.
  • Expert collaboration: By working with various organisations and specialists, the Cell brings in outside expertise for outreach programs that enhance practical skills.
  • A culture of respect: The primary goal is to foster an environment of dignity. These initiatives ensure that women can thrive and are encouraged to take on leadership positions.
