JAIN College (Autonomous) is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable educational environment. The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) aims to promote fairness, dignity, and access to education for students with disabilities and those from economically or socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

The College, through the EOC, works collaboratively with key institutional units like the Student Welfare Office, Placement and Career Guidance Cell, to ensure that students from marginalised communities are supported in every aspect of their academic journey. The Cell also encourages active participation from faculty, staff, and students to build a campus culture grounded in empathy, equality, and justice.

Objectives of the Equal Opportunity Cell:

To ensure the right care, protection, and security for students with disabilities and those from deprived or underrepresented backgrounds.
To uphold the right to development with dignity and equality, by creating an enabling environment for equal opportunity and full participation in academic and co-curricular life.
To sensitise the academic community about the challenges faced by marginalised groups and raise awareness about their rights, needs, and aspirations.
To examine and address grievances from students belonging to weaker sections through empathetic engagement and fair resolutions.
To promote inclusive practices by facilitating equitable access to education, health services, career support, and vocational training.
To enable holistic development and active engagement of students with disabilities through access to specialised services and support systems.
To ensure the implementation of statutory guidelines related to non-discrimination, equal access, and inclusive education in higher learning.
