JAIN College (Autonomous) is committed to fostering a harmonious, inclusive, and secure academic environment. This positive atmosphere is maintained through proactive efforts by various institutional committees, including the Anti-Ragging Committee, which ensures the safety, dignity, and well-being of all students on campus and in hostels.

The institution strictly complies with the UGC Regulations to eliminate ragging in higher educational institutions. It is imperative that every student thoroughly understands and adheres to the Government Orders and guidelines. Ragging is recognised as a criminal offence, and any student found participating in or supporting such activities will be subjected to strict disciplinary and legal action as per G.O. Ed 122 URC 96 dated 16.01.1997.

JAIN College (Autonomous) maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy towards ragging in any form. Any instance of ragging will be met with strict disciplinary action, applicable across all college departments, constituent units, and premises—including academic areas, hostels, sports complexes, cafeterias, and other facilities—whether within or outside the campus. This also extends to all forms of student transportation, both public and private.

The institution reserves the right to take stringent action against individuals found guilty of engaging in ragging, which may include, but is not limited to:

• Cancellation of admission
• Suspension or expulsion from the institution
• Withholding of examination results or degrees
• Initiation of criminal proceedings under applicable laws
• Penal action for aiding, abetting, or conspiring to promote ragging, whether directly or indirectly

Complaints of ragging may be initiated either by a written grievance from the affected student or through an independent investigation by the Anti-Ragging Committee.
