JAIN College (Autonomous) is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all its students, faculty, and staff. The POSH Committee has been established in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, to prevent and address complaints related to sexual harassment on campus.
Sexual harassment refers to any unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature, either direct or implied. It may include, but is not limited to:
Any student or staff member facing or witnessing sexual harassment is encouraged to report the incident through the following process:
A written complaint must be submitted to the POSH Committee within three working days from the date of the incident.
The complaint can be submitted in person or through official college email ID.
All complaints will be handled with the utmost confidentiality, sensitivity, and respect.
